About Me
My husband tells me I often live by jumping first and then yelling for someone to throw me down a parachute. Guess what? I’ve done it again. And, this time, I’ve gone and started a “real” blog.
My husband tells me I often live by jumping first and then yelling for someone to throw me down a parachute. Guess what? I’ve done it again. And, this time, I’ve gone and started a “real” blog. I reference it this way because I have been blogging on a Facebook page for a few years.
Now, I’m sitting here trying to answer the question about who I am. How on earth did I get to be fifty years old and have no idea who I am?
I’m a daughter. Like others, my family had issues.
I’m a sister to an incredibly lucky lady. Please don’t ask her opinion of this!
I am a wife to an even more lucky man. And, absolutely don’t ask his opinion of this description!
I am a mom of three incredible people. I have enjoyed raising two of these people into adults here on earth while another child waits for me in Heaven.
The hubby and I are living in the “empty nest” and welcome any advice we can with navigating these waters.
We recently had our first wedding and now have a fabulous son-in-law. No matter how often I tell myself that I am now a mother-in-law, it just doesn’t seem plausible.
I am the grandmother to two of the hairiest huskies you can ever imagine. As I write this, I have just finished cleaning and shoveling dog hair out of my house after they have been to visit. Every time I think there can’t possibly be any more dog hair, lo and behold, another furry tumbleweed floats by.
I have one fur baby who is literally my world! He is a seven-year-old, eight-pound miniature dachshund, dapple in color, and he absolutely lives for chicken biscuits from McDonald’s.
I have been a middle school teacher sharing knowledge in language arts and science for eighteen years. One time I was asked to teach math, and once the administration realized my ignorance of numbers, they never asked me again!
I have taught Sunday School at the same church for almost thirty years in the nursery, young children, and youth rooms.
My father is God, and I have been His for as long as I can remember. I was saved during a summer Vacation Bible School. So shout out to VBS directors! Your work does pay off.
